Women in Ontario still earn less than men. That gap affects their savings, their retirement and their security over a lifetime. What’s driving it, and what can we do about it?
Join the CFUW Ontario Council for a morning conversation with two leading voices on women’s economic equality.
What we’ll cover:
-
The gender pay gap in Ontario
-
The policy landscape and advocacy levers
-
What CFUW OC can do

A researcher, sociologist, and advocate, Dr. Hoang is committed to advancing gender equity, inclusive leadership, and systemic change across Canada through an intersectional lens.
Her work bridges research, policy, and practice, with expertise in women's representation in leadership and the labour market, as well as the gendered experiences of women in Canadian workplaces. Through her research, Dr. Hoang seeks to transform evidence into actionable solutions that help organizations address barriers to equity and foster more inclusive, resilient, and sustainable workplaces.
Dr. Hoang is passionate about driving meaningful changes through research, partnership-building, and evidence-informed approaches that strengthen both organizational performance and social impact.
