My 10 year old grandson James, suggested I put on lots of ‘makeup’ to cover all the wrinkles for this pic! This only made me chase him around the kitchen table while he snorted with glee.

As RD for Northern Ontario, our communities are too far apart for me to chase CFUW leaders around their kitchen tables. Instead, incredibly corny jokes get shared and problems like; how to get rid of nosy bears get discussed. Of course, clubs need to thrive and we problem solve and share good happenings.

I have learned more from our Northern clubs than I have given them. It’s been invigorating to be an RD.
