September is Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month, and we are honoured to welcome Dr. Barbara Vanderhyden, PhD, a leading ovarian cancer research scientist this coming October!


On Monday, October 19 at 6:45 p.m., join CFUW Perth & District at this public meeting and hear Dr. Vanderhyden speak about:

  • The history of building the ovarian cancer research community in Canada

  • Advocacy and lobbying efforts to improve funding for ovarian cancer research

  • What has been achieved through that funding
